Fantastic Fiction

We are all writing fiction stories with a character who really wants something, who yearns for something. The problem (which every story must have) comes when the character does not get what he/she wants. Write about the character in your story. Include both his/her external and internal characteristics. What is it that your character wants? Why can’t he/she get it? What is the struggle that your character is facing? What is big problem in your story?

My main character is Lucy. Her external features are that she is 12 years old, is in the 6th grade and is just starting Middle School. She has brown hair and wears glasses. She studies hard, but is not super smart. Her best friend Amber is in the same classes as she is. They have been friends since Kindergarten. Lucy’s internal features are that she is funloving and likes to joke and tease her friends and family. She wants to belong to the popular crowd and have many friends. She loves animals and is saving her money to buy a horse. Sometimes she is very bossy, especially with Amber.
My character, Lucy, wants more that anything to make the cheerleading squad. If she makes the squad then she will belong to the popular group in the school. For sure she will be accepted and have lots of friends.
The big problem in my story is that Lucy will be competing against her best friend Amber who is also trying out for the squad. The competition is causing much friction in their friendship. Lucy really wants to get chosen, but what if Amber gets chosen and she doesn’t? Then what?

My main character is jack. He is going on a adventure in the volcano. His chance is to get to the treasure and get back home safely. His external features are he is 11 years old, he is in 5th grade, and he likes going on adventures. he has a darkblack hair, and he likes math. His internal features are likes telling the truth, and he loves sports.
My character, jack, wants to get to the treasure, but he meets many ugly and strong monsters. Know one knows whats going to happen…
My main character is zach and his extranal features are 13 years, old 7th grade, darkblak hair, glasses, likes soccer, likes to read.
his internal features is are been honest, loves sports, spacialy soccer.
My character Zach wants his dad to let him go watch the soccer match but his dad doesn’t let’s him go.
Do you think his dad will let Zach go to the soccer match?????
My main character is Anne.
Her external features are she is 13yrs. old, and she loves to take picture.She have long hair that is black,she’s always with camera, she loves jeans, writes alots of letter or e-mail, her ears are pierced, she’s not that fat or skinny, she loves jewelery, she doesn’t like writing, she’s 150cm tall, and she come from Korea,Seoul. Also, she’s rich.
Her internal features are that she always care about her parents, sometimes she’s funny, she’s a caring person, she’s a good traveler, she’s a really fast worker, she’s not lazy, and she’s a smart thinker.
Anne longs for friendship. She doesn’t have lots of friends so she always feel lonely. Also, she longs for the contest prize that she tries out.
The thing that gets in Anne’s way is flight pressure, her camera, and loneliness. She have to travel around and take pictures but she’s scared of flight pressure so it’s her struggle and it gets in her way. Her camera is too old to win the prize but later she realizes that it gets in her way. Loneliness gets in her way because if you’re lonely, you always feel bad and a lot of times sad too.So it gets in her way.
My story mountain’s top is the part she loses the prize but she meets a new friend so later she will be ok I guess.;)
In my story there is going to be a girl who dosen’t have any friends, and the Govener is about to cut the rainforest where my girls lives with her dad. My girl has black hair,dark skin and she is my age 12 years old. The solutin to havin no friends happens that my character makes friends with the goveners daughter. The rainforest problem comes to a solution when the Goveners daugher reminds her dad when he used to play in this rainforest. My character lives in a rainforest because she is very poor and she and her father live in leaf and garbage house. Like the wall and the roof are made out of metal with leefs on top. I hope the story will bw good.:-)

About my charactor… Well, my character is going to be a girl call Amy.
She is Austrailan, but she don’t use British accent, because she was never living at Austraila. She were living at Korea, and Japan, but now she moved to Thailand.
She is not so popualr in the school, but she is very nice. she have a short and brown hair, her height is medium, and she is quiet good at social studies and language art. she love to read and write. Also she is a great member in the school band and school gymnastic team. She want to be an instrument player later. And she is 11 years old now, and she is in 5th grade.
This story takes place at the Thailand. In ISB. And now is the summer time. And it is March now.
Laura was her best friend, but she went back to America. So now Alice is the only best friend that she have in ISB. Laura is a girl with a straight blond hair with glasses. And Alice is this girl with very long dark black hair.
But one day, this new girl call ‘Katie’ join Amy and Alice’s group, and Alice got jealous. Oh! And Katie is this tall girl who is really skinny – but not boney! She looks really nice! – and she have medium lenth blond – actually it looks like it is white – hair.
Her external struggle is that she is not really healthy right now. Because she broke her arm, so she can’t really participate in p.e.- which is one of her favorite subject- and she can run.
Her internal struggle is that her 2nd best friend, Alice is starting being mean to her, because she want to be a friend with the new girl, Katie. Also she is sad because her best friend, Laura went back to the America.
But at the last, I’ll make it as end of the year and Amy getting a e-mail from Laura, that she is coming back to the Thailand at the new semester!
I hope I could write a exciting story!!!
Oh! And I really liked Lau’s story, because in your life – at least one time – you don’t get to do what you want!

My main Character is Michael. His external features are 10 years old, brown eyes, black hair. (Asian) His internal features are he feel guilty when he lie to somebody.
Also his shy that when he ask question he ask ” Can I ask some questions?”.
My secondary character is Joe. His external features are rich, 10 years old, yellow hair. His external features are he don’t feel guilty.

Ok so my main character is Ralph. He has a black hair and quite tall. He is 11years old and he is in middle school.
He has nofriends in school and the worst thing is he is a bully. He gets many strets from school. First he forgots his locker number and he is bad at every subjact exapt for math.He is the best at the math but no body listens to him or pay attention to him so nobody knows. And he wnats to win the math contest. One day one new boy student comes to the school. His name is Jack and has brown hairs with glass. He still dosen’t have any friend and he wants a friend also does Ralph.
Will he win the math contest and have a great friendship with Jack?:^
My character is Harry and he’s in 6th grade.
He has brown eyes and short black hair. He thought 6th grade was boring but he started to like 6th grade. He wants to be friend with everybodybody but his Math grade is the worst in his class and his parents would yell at him and he couldn’t go to his friend’s house and his friend would be disappointed. My character’s struggles are to study so he could get a better grade, and to watch TV less.
My main character is William. His external features are that he’s 5th grader who is 11years old, athletic, brave, not tall or short, he has black hair and not very smart.
His internal features are that he’s bit kind to his team mates in his soccer team. What he want the moost is to win the soccer tournament that is coming up on next week and get gold medal. William himself is good at soccer but his team mate are not. My character can’t get what he wants because his team is not good and the strongest team call “Sharks” is always beating them on the first game of the tournament. A struggle that my character is facing is versting “Sharks” and the biggest problem in this story is that William’s team is too weak to beat “Sharks” I hope i can write a really good story.
I think I am going to change my story. Its going to be about a boy named jack going to have to leave his school and going to America.
My main character is Jack, and he is going to miss his own school. He has a secondery character, named Jeff. Jack want a friend in his new school, but he got into a teasing group. It means that he was been teased all the time.
Jack’s external characteristics is brown hair, black eyes, and helikes soccer very much. His internal charatcteristics is that he likes math, and he hates writing.
Actually, I kind of changed my mine. I am not going to use Laura, and change Alice as ‘not so important’ character. And I also changed my story. It is going to be about China research, and Amy’s partner, Katie is going to cheat the answer from Mrs.Iagra’s answer key. (Do you know how I made that name? dIAGRAm!!!) And Amy knew that if you cheat, it is going to be in her permenite record, and she is really in middle. Either telling Mrs.Iagra or keeping as secret. What do you think Amy is going do???
Oh! And one question Hiro! Is Jeff related to Jack in any ways? Because I was wondering how could Jeff be a secondary character even he is not related to Jack!

The main charater in my fiction writing is Jess. His big problem, right now is that his parents are getting a divorce. The internal characteristics of this character is smart,honest,and he always take things serious. The external characteristics of this character is handsome, cool ,and a skateboard freak. He wants his parents to stay together and don’t separated to live.
