One thing that I do is to look in books that I really like to read to see what my favorite authors have done. I read their leads and model my writing after what they do. If they can grab my attention and make me want to read on, then I want to do that too in my writing. So I’ll use some of the techniques that they use in their books.
Another thing I do is to really think about the “Heart” of my story, that is, what I really want the reader to understand, the message I think is most important. If I try to stick to that when I write, then I have a plan that I can follow and my writing won’t get off the topic and become boring.

I mostly like to write the 5 senses and write down as many detail as posible. I also like to write the speeches and the inside story to show the feeling and thought. Also they would understand why I did the stuff or why I got mad. I also like to write the outside story because it helps other see a mental picture in their mind. WHen I write I like to put the emotions into the character’s speech because it makes it funnier and sometimes it make the reader feel sad.

I like to write the inside story to show the emotion of the character and the thoughts and wonders. I like to make the story filled with speech and detail because it will give the reader a quick mental picture.
I also like using the 5 sense to make the reader feel that they are at the place. I like to hook the reader by writing the outside story to get a mental picture and how you would feel because it’s and action like if the character were walking with an ice-cream you would taste the taste of sweetness and you would smell it.

I get ideas by thinking what happened in the past. And when some ideas pop in my head, I pick the one that was really important to me. For example, I pick the idea when I was really scared, really happy or really sad. I usually start my writing with a dialogue. I sometimes start with an action or a setting but it’s kind of hard for me so I always start my writing with a dialogue. I try to grab the readers by starting a story with an interesting lead. I also describe about an object to grab the readers. And I try to end the story with an dialogue or an interesting idea.

To do better in writing I have to practice a lot. I get the idea to write from myself, I write about things I like to do. I start my writing by doing time line, write title of the story, and write three good startings of the story. I use more interesting facts and make it more adventure. My writing technique is to use a lot of details and the starting of the story has to be interesting so the reader want to read the story a lot. So they will not stop reading and not change to read the other book.

How to write a personal narrative story:

First, we think of a small seed story that ever happen to us. Then, give it a good title. Next, try some leads using action, dialogue and setting. Choose one and write it in your natebook. Then write the whole story. After you write the whole story, look at the ending. Try some endings using picture, dialogue and reminder of the whole story.Last, decide the heart of the story which means the important part of the story. Add more details as possible.

First, I think something interested in my life. Next,I usally make a time about it. Next, I pick a important part and zoom in. I try to remember that time about the 5 senses.(I saw, I looked, I smelled, I touched, and I feeled) Now, I`m ready to write! Ticktick!!!(sound of the typer)Now I`m done. I always reread before I finish my writing. I`m really done!!

I make my writings better by rereading, then add some true exact details.I also think of what was exiting about today and list those ideas. Some time like when I don`t have any thing to write,my mother gives me a advise. It is also good to read a book that is really really good and make a sample like do they make story really interesting!
(Paul Jennings,Judy Blume,Roald Dahl and Morris Gleitsman writes a good BOOKs!

I try to add alot of details as possable as I can. For example, if I write about my father, I say he have black short hair and he`s nice. So the reader can picture my father in their mind. So I try to make the readers be with me in the story. Then they will keep reading on and on and they will like it.. Well, writing is very hard to me.. Especially, the long writing… Like Fumiki, I also look in the books and I always check how did the authors start the book and end the book. And I also like Judy Blume and Babara Park.(they are my favorite authors)

When I look for the ideas, I search for fun/boring thing that happened in the past. (example for bad thing happened in past can be like… going to kumon, doing homework etc.)(example for fun thing happened in past can be like… going to friend’s birthday party, playing game etc.) When I start writing, I use LEAD to make reader read on. When I’m writing, I use dialoge to make it more fun and also I use author’s craft.

I would’t tell what I just felt right away when I write. It’s something like, when you say I am going to barf, in writing, instead of just saying,l ‘I am going to barf’ I write it like, ‘oh! shoot! something is coming out from my throat! Is it the noodle that is coming out? I ate too much of noodles just now! I shouldn’t have ate so much!”‘ so that the readers can read between the line. I just hate to write something boring like, ‘I am going to barf’ instead of letting the readers read between the line. I just love to read Judy Blume and Moris Gletsmen and Roald Dahl books!! THEY WRITE SUPER DUPER AWESOME COOL DETAILED BOOKS! I JUST LOVE HOW THEY WRITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ROCK at WRITING STORYS!!!!!!!

I get ideas by thinking what happened in the past. when some ideas pop in my head,i get the one that i like the best and then i write about it. as i’m writing i have to use some detail like daialog i put the setting and some of them i put some action and some times when i don’t understand i make it better by rereading and when i get it and i’m sure that, that is the right answer then i can write. and i need to write it really clear so the reader can understand.
